Jan Jadczak is the co-founder and co-owner of Black Rack, a company providing comprehensive IT services to businesses across a wide range of industries. He has been working in the IT industry for over 20 years and has been running his business through Black Rack since 2015, managing customer infrastructures comprising hundreds of physical and virtual servers.
His experience includes production-level administration of Windows, Linux, and FreeBSD systems, as well as the design, deployment, and maintenance of virtualization environments — including Proxmox VE, which he has been working with since version 1.8. He has carried out dozens of Proxmox migrations and deployments for many of Poland’s largest companies, including migrations from Hyper-V and VMware, as well as bare-metal server virtualization. He has delivered large-scale projects in environments requiring high availability and performance. If you have a problem with Proxmox, he is definitely someone who can solve it.
He specializes in the design and configuration of storage systems based on SAS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel, as well as the deployment of high-availability (HA) clusters. He has extensive knowledge of modern data storage technologies, building storage systems based on OpenZFS and deploying distributed solutions such as Ceph.
At Black Rack, he is responsible for the comprehensive management of network infrastructure — from configuring routers and firewalls (Cisco, FortiGate, VyOS, OPNsense) to overseeing security and data backup policies.
